Rogers State Hillcats
The Rogers State University Hillcats are the athletic teams that represent Rogers State University. Their mascot, a fictional animal based on a bobcat and named for the hill that the school sits upon, was chosen in 2005 by a group of students.〔(RSU | Traditions )〕 The school participates in the National Collegiate Athletics Association Division II and is a member of the Heartland Conference.
The university fields men's teams in baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer and track & field. As well as women's teams in basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball and track and field.

The Hillcats' current athletic director is Ryan Erwin, named the third athletic director in school history replacing Ryan Bradley, who replaced Wren Baker.〔http://www.rsuhillcats.com/article.asp?articleID=1319〕 Justin Barkley is the men's basketball coach, Roxanne Long is the women's basketball coach, Ron Bradley is the baseball coach, Amy Cope is the softball coach, Derek Larkin is the men's and women's soccer coach, Lynn Blevins is the men's and women's golf coach, and Chris McCormick is the men's and women's cross country and track and field coach.
